The Youth Athletic Foundation (YAF) assists children in need by:
1. Providing grants to purchase specific sports equipment from local vendor partners; and/or,
2. Covering the registration costs associated with a particular sport or activity.
School personnel and social service organizations coordinate with The Youth Athletic Foundation to identify children in need and make recommendations to YAF for funding. Our goal is to help children whose parents must choose between paying for essentials (food, clothing, shelter) or buying athletic equipment. We trust our partners to accurately assess need so that we may serve only those who would otherwise be unable to participate in the sport of their choice.
